Shazam: The Android Music Detector App [Review]

Shazam app is developed by Shazam Entertainment Limited. If you love music then this is must app for your android phone.

The key feature of the app is it can listen to music being played around then can detect the artist and song title for you.

This screen appears only first time after app is launched

 

Listens to Music

If music is being played nearby, you need to touch the big button on Shazam so that it can listen music which it will try to detect later.

 

Matches Music

After listening for 15 to 30 seconds it will try to match the song (You need internet connectivity on android phone).

 

Results Returned

If a match is found then it will return the results with author and song title.

 

Extra Options

You can then buy that song from amazonMP3, get tour info if available, watch YouTube Video, get recommendations, post on Facebook or Twitter, email or SMS the results.

 

Widget

You can have Shanzan widget on desktop of phone to easily access it.
